RP Guidelines

Ok, so to get a legit RP, there are some standards you need to follow. Each section will have its own post. They are as follow:

Forms
Other Notes

Each section will have its own way of having a legit view of how to base your RP.

Story/Plot
Every RP needs a storyline. Give your storyline a point in what is happening or what is to happen within it. Without a storyline, a RP has no function. Feel free to use the example as a use for a storyline if you should come to it.

Example:

The year is 2049...Humanity is at its end. Aliens attacked Earth after deeming them uncivilized because of their rash ways. The humans, though their weapons are effective, have died out to near extinction. The last remaining humans hide underground as the aliens repopulate earth and claim it as their own. Soon the aliens will attack the humans to kill them off before they can repopulate too. It is your job as a human to protect your fellow humans and fight off the alien forces whom wish to kill you.

References
References are basically you telling what certain important factors are within the RP. They help others understand what this does and how it should relate to the story. Example.

Lashers- A group of rebels willing to get back at the government for turning their pleads for help down when they needed it.

Goroz- The government of the world, they are full of power and are corrupted.

Nanos- Weapons used within the world.

Every RP needs a set of rules. Without rules, there would be chaos and confusion. The dreaded Double Cs. Here is an example of a base set of rules that should be in RPs.

Rules:

No Godmodding.
No Powerplaying.
No Spamming.
No Flaming.
Put :face: in your form if you've read the rules. (Optional but used widely)

Forms
Forms are just as they are. Forms. Forms, or data sheets, for your characters to tell other Role Players who this character is. Here is an example of what is needed in all forms.

Username- (Optional but recommended)
Name-
Age-
Gender-
Image/Description-
Background- (Optional)
Personality- (Optional)
Other- (Usually where people puts the symbol to mark they've read the rules.)
